Welcome!

Looking through the website, you will notice that the Spring Creek Church of Christ is deliberate about creating an atmosphere of spiritual growth and health. Jesus is our model, our standard for that growth and health. 

Luke 2:52 tells us that: “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and men.”

Luke 3:23 tells us that: “Jesus…began His ministry.”

In these two passages we find five areas that describes the process of Christian formation. In order to grow in Christ-likeness, the Spring Creek Church of Christ uses these key areas to model our own growth after the growth of Jesus.

SEEK

We Seek God in worship, prayer, and devotionals to grow in favor with God, surrender our lives to His will, and strengthen our relationship with Him.

share

We Share Life in a community of God’s people in order to encourage, edify, gain strength, and maintain accountability in our walk with Jesus.

STUDY

We Study the Bible so that we know Jesus and experience the transformation that He promises to work in us.

serve

We Serve Others in response to the love that God shows us each and every day so that others may see Him and seek Him.

SUPPORT

We Support Ministry by becoming involved in deliberate, intentional, and meaningful efforts to help the world see Jesus in His people.

At the Spring Creek Church of Christ we are deliberate about walking with God in the process of discipleship. Romans 8:29 tells us that from the very beginning God’s plan was for His people to be “conformed to the likeness of his Son.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 promises that those who are walking in a relationship with God are being “transformed into his likeness.” What an amazing vision God has for His people! God’s desire is that we look like Jesus. As you look at yourself and your family, we encourage you to “follow in his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21)
 
Committing to a deliberate, intentional process of becoming Christ-like means committing to the five areas of growth experienced by Jesus. The Spring Creek Church of Christ would like to invite you to walk with us as we journey along the road of spiritual formation.
