LYDIA'S PANTRY
Welcome!
In the late 1980’s, Lydia Krug challenged a church in Tomball to bring hope into struggling lives by providing food and spiritual assistance to those in need. While Lydia has gone on to be with the Lord, Spring Creek continues to meet her challenge and Serve Others.
Our pantry clients, from approximately 25 zip codes in the greater Tomball area, can receive free food twice a month. For many local residents like Maria Gonzales, Lydia’s Pantry is a tremendous blessing. As a mother of four, Gonzales says getting food twice a month, helps a lot. She adds, “They are very loving here and are always in a good mood. And they treat you really nice.”
NEED HELP?
Open on Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Please call the Church office for additional details: 281-351-1234
WANT TO HELP?
Volunteers help process, package, and load groceries for clients who qualify for assistance. Volunteer opportunities are also available on Mondays and Tuesdays unloading trucks from the Houston Food Bank, transporting food from local companies who donate, stocking shelves, and preparing for distribution.
Food can also be donated to the pantry by individuals and families. Please call the church office for special needs that you can help supply to the pantry.
Contact the church office (281-351-1234) for information about volunteering in Lydia’s Pantry.
